    Story

On April 23, 2013, the world has cheerfully welcomed a new little miracle, called Noah, who was born from the two loving hearts of his parents. A healthy, happy and beautiful boy grew bigger and stronger every day. His parents were enjoying life as a family, both had fulfilling careers and have just moved to a new house - it was all perfect and nobody even in the scariest nightmare would have dreamed of the terrible things that the fate has prepared for them.
It was a beautiful sunny day of spring and, more importantly, the day of Noah’s second birthday (April 23, 2015). He start feeling unwell. The diagnosis was not too threatening – Rotavirus. It is quite common for the kids and usually is easily treatable. Unfortunately, not in little Noah’s case – the virus has complicated and resulted first in Meningitis, then in Encephalitis, later developed into Epilepsy. Noah went into coma for two months after which he woke up paralyzed. Mom is still working in order to be able to support her son and looks after Noah, who currently can’t move his hands or legs, cannot speak or smile to his Mommy. Wonderful family life has broken into pieces. Noah and his Mom were left to fight alone
Loving Mom of Noah is dedicating all her heart, love and efforts to her little boy. Every day she is taking Noah to kinesitherapy and acupuncture, also she managed to finish the massage courses to helping her son heal. Noah is slowly recovering: acupuncture has helped to reduce the epileptic seizures, kinesitherapy and massages helped to strengthen the muscles – the boy is now able to sit with support for a few minutes. The sensory reaction is improving as well: the kid is starting to identify his Mom and Grandmother. These improvements give hope that everything is going to be fine, but in order for little Noah to fully recover, he needs intensive professional treatment, which single mom cannot afford. Two week treatment in “Adeli” medical center in Slovakia costs 6000EUR
