My incredible mam was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus back in august she was also diagnosed with a cancerous tumour which is blocking the entrance to her stomach. Since then our world has been turned upside down . With constant hospital appointments tests ,scans ,oncologist appointments oncologist nurse appointments .As my mam said she's been well vetted with her cat scan then pet scan. Her sense of humour. The reason I wanted to set up a page to help is because my mam has worked hard ever since she left school .She raised me as a single mam and did a outstanding job at being my mother ,my provider and my world .She's always worked long hours to provide for us .Never been sick and never taken a day off .She is the type of women that would work her day off if they asked her .She has worked up until the day before she started her chemo . Even though she had no intentions of having chemo she only wanted the surgery then chemo afterwards if need be . somehow or other its dragged out so long she has no choice but to have chemo. Since the delay it's spread to her lympth nodes in her chest :( This absolutely devastated us as a family . My mother can only eat soft liquid foods as it gets stuck due to the tumour which makes it difficult to eat . I've watched her go from this strong incredible women who didn't seem sick at all to being weak,exhausted and going through all the motions of her chemotherapy. I look after my mam with all her needs at home as well as every hospital appointment to every visit into hospital for her chemotherapy .Her words you are my rock . It's been a strain on the Finances who knew a different diet and traveling for appointments would be so expensive when it's done so often .She's relying on me . As much as I try it's tough when I'm a mother and provider for my children too .I just want to help the financial strain and give it to her to say a huge thanks for everything she has done for me. I'm also going to brave the shave and donate my own hair to little princess trust and any remaining funds will be going to macmillan . Im fundraising as much as I can not just through my page .I just really want to help and not have this feeling of being useless when I'm doing the up most best I possibly can .
