Halfway Community Council covers all of Cambuslang East: Flemington, Halfway, Cairns, Overton, Lightburn, Westburn, Newton, Drumsagard, Hallside and Greenlees and receives a limited budget each year to run its meetings. We currently have a number of important community campaigns on the go since the School Buses:- Gilbertfield housing development, stop the Whistleberry Rd Waste Incinerator Plant, stop any more housing development until we secure important and needed Community Facilities (including a new High School). We need more funds for our campaign materials and resources to ensure our campaigns reach into all of our communities. Can you help us?
