Story
A great may family carers in our area are not listened to or supported by anyone. MaryDei is trying to make a difference to those family carers, including children who are the main carers in their families.
We have had a difficult few months but we are coming back strong with a major fundraising event on Saturday June 17th, a Celebration of Beatrix Potter at Gwaenynog Gardens, Denbigh. Beatrix used to visit her Uncle at Gwaenynog and was inspired to create some of her most famous characters there.
We want to make the Beatrix Potter Day as fun and as enjoyable a day as possible for our community, whilst also raising much needed funds for our community work with Carers.
We have managed to raise £200 in just a week, with your kind donations. So we are carrying on and are attempting to hit the £500 goal over the next 3 weeks.

My sister Ann and I are determined to carry on with our community business, MaryDei, supporting family carers. We have named it in memory of our parents Mary and Dei Jones, who we cared for. Mam lived with Dementia for 10 years and Dad became disabled following a fall.
