A few of us are doing a sponsored walk anyone is welcome to join us, to raise money to help fund a mobility vehicle for a well deserving lady.

At present she is being socially isolated, due to not have the equipment or means to access the community and in my opinion, this is not acceptable and can be changed.

She is a wonderful lady, who’s smile lights up the room and reminds me every day why I work in care, she is loved by all the carers and her husband adores her. Her husband would love to do more with her, even though he provides her with 24 support this is all in the house. He takes her out as often as he can, but he would like to do this more but does not have the means.

My aim is to give this lady a better quality of life and make both husband and wife’s life easier.
