Hi I'm Lara Bushnell and I am 14 years old and I have been selected to represent my school to go to Ghana with World Challenge, where I will be helping to improve a school within the local community. I am 1 of a team of 18 girls who were selected out of group out of 80+ students. This is a once in a life time opportunity where I will be getting involved with what their culture has to offer and will be trying to make a meaningful contribution to an on going local course. I will be spending 2 weeks in Ghana where I will be at least trying to put a smile on the local Ghanain children and people. I am going in July 2019 and I will be working alongside the World Challenge charity to fundraise enough money to make a difference.
