I am 19 years old and in remission from Hodgkin Lymphoma. I was diagnosed in 2017 and received chemotherapy but sadly it returned and following more chemotherapy I received a stem cell transplant in 2018. Whilst in Southampton hospital I planned to cycle from Largs in Scotland to East Cowes, Isle of Wight to support the Ellen MacArthur trust and the two hospital wards who looked after me whilst I was on treatment.
I started planning and my brother who supported me throughout agreed to join me on my ride, we originally planned for last May but due to Covid was rearranged for this May but now finally planned for August.
