What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

***On 24th September Sophie-Hélène passed away with her parents at her side.***

Due to the speed of Sophie's illness your donations could not be used towards Sophie's benefit however they will be used to benefit other children in this situation.

Thank you.

Those of you who have come to this site are very aware of the tragic circumstances that have brought you here. Thank you for coming this far!

The lack of information on this page is clearly not the normal way of fundraising - however as the young brother has not been told the full horror of the situation, the parents have asked for no details to be posted online, until they have worked out how to tell him.

There are three options:

1) DONATE NOW - If you are happy to donate as is - then thank you so much - you're amazing!

2) YOU WOULD LIKE THE FULL DETAILS BEFORE DONATING - If you feel uncomfortable donating to an appeal with such poor information, we completely understand that. Please hold on to your donation and email Will Smith on the link at the bottom. The page will be updated on the day the brother is told and you will be notified immediately. You're amazing as well!

3) YOU DONT WISH TO DONATE - Again, no problem. However, if you wish to help someone who is dealing with DIPG, and is no doubt in a terrible place, there are loads of DIPG charaties. It truly is an awful thing to happen to anyone - so any support, for anyone, is amazing.

We are acutely aware of the the speed at which DIPG progresses, so they page is live now so we can get a headstart....We hope to make even more of an impact when we update it.

Any money raised will be used to help this little girl have some extra special times with her Dad and brother. We are also hoping to pay for the funeral costs. If there is any remaining monies, they will be donated to a DIPG charity.

More info - the graph says it all

***As already explained the anonymity of this family is paramount to protect the elder sibling at this time***

We thank you in advance for your generosity.

    Update from the Page owner

As some of you may know Sophie passed away yesterday. Thank you so much for your donation. I know that Andy is astounded by the amount of money raised. Due to the speed of Sophie's illness your money couldn't be used for fun times for her as we had hoped BUT it will be donated to help other children in this situation. Much love x
