Story
On Sunday 19 September I'll be running in the Loch Eilde Mòr 10k trail race as part of Salomon's Glencoe Skyline weekend. Seemed like a good idea at the time!!
I'll be running for Food For Thought, a West Dunbartonshire charity which provides emergency food aid five days a week. Demand has increased over recent months and so any donation you could make would be very gratefully received. As well as the main town centre Artizan Shopping location the service operates in three other distribution points across the area.

3 years agoThanks so much to you all for your support! Today's race went well - the trail was quite slippery and boggy in (many!) places but I was lucky that the rain (mostly) stayed off. I managed round in 1 hr 36 mins 46 seconds, and was the 27th woman across the line. To my surprise, I later found out that I was placed third in the over 40 female category (there can't have been many of us old yins out there today, I suspect!!). I'm so grateful to you all for your generous donations to Food for Thought in Dumbarton - many thanks again! Laura xx
