Story
Beth and I have abseiled down the maternity unit before for various causes but this time we will be doing it to help raise funds for the hospital itself. The NHS is struggling recently to treat everybody and is relying on other charities to help out. To try to alleviate some of this financial strain we are abseiling down the maternity block to raise funds for the maternity wards. We have chosen these wards specifically because our mother recently retired from Ipswich Hospital after being a midwife there for more than 30 years, so these wards are close to our hearts.
