As we all know we have lost a member of the family. Dan was my cousin (those who don't know) and had a short battle through a brain tumour and cancer which spread. I managed to take Dan up to the memorial trees to visit Grandma’s and Mum’s and he loved it, so instead of family flowers I thought we would dedicate a tree for him. William (his young son)has chosen the tree and we are going to go for a picnic the day after his birthday 28th July (Family all welcome!)

There will also be a contribution to the family's chosen charities, The Nightingale Macmillan ward, and for funds towards a new radio therapy machine at the Royal Derby Hospital.

I am also running the race for life in a few weeks (done every year) for Dan this year, so any donations welcome. I don't usually do it for funds, but this year it is going to a special cause, and as you all know its very close to my heart.
