On Easter Monday (April 17th) Birch Hall Adventures are holding a climbing challenge.

As part of that challenge, I will climb to the top of the wall 52 times - a total climb of 180m - the equivalent of climbing the Gherkin tower in London.

I'm doing this to raise money for two fantastic local charitable organisations:
* Birch Hall Adventures, a charity providing outdoor learning and adventurous activities to develop confidence and independence in young people - plus they provide the weekly climbing club I love so much. http://www.birchhall.com/

* Sponsor A Sibling, a non-profit organisation that exists to put a smile on the brother's and sisters of sick children, letting them know how amazing they are. http://sponsorasibling.co.uk/

I've managed 28 climbs in one morning so far....and I may have whimpered and wept a little during the last 3 ascents - so I know this will hurt!

My target is £180 - so when I'm climbing I'll know each metre covered has raised £1 for charity.

The money raised will be split 50:50 between the two organisatons.
