I am aiming to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
On Sunday 18th November I will be doing a 10 mile sponsored walk.
This is my first challenge for the award and will end up with me doing a 25 mile hike over 2 days in May 2019.
We work in small, unassisted groups involving us to use our skills of cooking, map reading, teamwork and more without the use of mobile phones or public resources during this time.
The next 6 months will include further training and I am volunteering to help others less fortunate than myself.
Please donate as much or as little as you can afford as every penny counts enabling me to buy the necessary resources and equipment.
Please do not think that the equipment will go to waste after the expedition as I will donate them to my school's Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme allowing other students to use them in future years.
