    Story

The Nepal Experience is a project ran by The Esland Group, a children’s residential care provider based nationally across England.

We are aiming to raise a substantial amount of money for ‘MySmallHelp’, our partner charity who help disadvantaged children, young people and families in Nepal, one of the poorest countries in the World. I need to raise £2,500, some of which will help fund my expenses to visit the children, teach lessons and learn about life for children in Nepal. The majority of money will go straight to the orphans and families we support; helping rehouse refugees, educate children and provide food, shelter and a safe environment for them to live in.

***To help the cause, I am taking part in the Big Cycle, travelling {500} miles across England by bicycle, stopping off at {all of our 21} children's homes along the way to raise money for the disadvantaged children and young people in Nepal. We'll be going from our most northern homes in South Yorkshire via Derbyshire, Northampton, Swindon, London and ending on the south east-coast in Kent. ***

Nepal is the poorest country in South Asia with many political, social and economic problems. The Esland Group financially support orphans who live onsite at the Marybert School in the Kathmandu valley, ensuring they receive care and education. Whilst we are helping and making a difference, the problems in Nepal are unfortunately growing since the April 2015 Earthquake which killed nearly 9,000, injured 22,000 and made millions of people homeless.

Your support, however small is greatly appreciated and will make a real difference.

    Thanks for your time! :-)
