Hi everyone,

As most of you know I will be spending 3 months in East Africa later this year and want to raise funds for MOON-CUPS!

Mooncups are a good solution to improve period poverty and menstrual hygiene for young women in Rwanda. Not all women/ young girls have access to sanitary products and because of this girls often miss out on education as they are unable to attend school.

1 moon cup costs approx. £15 and I hope to take as many as possible with me to distribute in local village schools.

£150 of the money will also be spent on cycle beads for Uganda which are a ring of beads for women to track their menstrual cycle and track their most fertile days. This is to support family planning and act as a form of contraception. I will provide the maternity unit with 10 example so they can show the women how to make their own.
