    Story

In October 2016, I discovered two strong and inspiring Ladies working tirelessly to improve the lives of homeless dogs in Romania. They founded the Suflete Dragi/Kind Souls animal rescue centre in Bucharest to help the dogs, as remaining on the streets they are at high risk of being subjected to cruelty, abduction and slaughter. The rescue centre does not benefit from any kind of official support, and solely relies on private donations.

This is my personal initiative to support them.

The rescue centre had to relocate hundreds of dogs in an emergency, which are now living in poor conditions, and are in danger of freezing to death with the coming winter.

In order to raise both funds for the improvement works at the rescue centre, and awareness of the harsh conditions these dogs endure, I am taking up an "ice lake challenge" to dip into a frozen lake in sub zero temperatures in Finland this January. As a reward for your participation...and for your entertainment, a short video of this event will follow.

100% of the funds raised will be donated directly to the Suflete Dragi rescue centre.
