i was recently one of many that was effected by a friend taking his own life, this hit many people hard and has spurred on a group from Welwyn Rugby club to selflessly create a wonderful charity named JOCA (just one click away). The charity is there to give people with problems someone to talk to and to help in any way they can, the volunteers have done a fantastic job and i would love to help by raising what i can for them to continue with their good work.
A long with persuassion from my cousin Ben I decided that in memory of my friend Ryan i would take on the Man vs Mountain challenge which is 23 torturous miles running up and down mount Snowdon mixed in with some water challenges a long the way! when i signed up to do this challenge i was as unfit as i had ever been, well over weight and struggled to run 2 miles, i have been training now for 5 months, have run a 13 mile half marathon and have a 10 mile Tough Mudder event to do in May, i am currently running 4 or 5 times a week desperately trying to get fit enough to finish my challenge which takes place on September 2nd, i am being pushed every step of the way by Ben with whom i will do the challenge.
i do not enjoy running and cant believe i said i would do it but knowing i can help the cause is keeping me going!!

I often sponsor others but have not done anything myself in the past, any help would be greatly appreciated and well used directly by a local and fantastic charity
