Wife vs Husband (UK vs Canada)

Leah and Carter are a happily loved up new wed Couple. Carter moved over to the UK from Regina in Canada to be with Leah as the couple met in California 3rd July 2011 at a dwarf convention and it was love at first site. They are hoping to settle in the Sheffield (UK) together.

They both have a Competition on the 7th World Dwarf Games which is on the 5th August - 12th August 2017 in Guelph Canada. They are both competing but for their own countries (Canada and GB). They are hoping to win medals and bring them home to sheffield together but they are both competitive and especially at team sports where they will go head to head.

They both have a disability called Achondroplasia a sign of dwarfism. Despite their short stature, they have both been focused on ability to compete in different sports wether its against average or disabled people like ourselves.

Leah is competing in Track and Field which is her main events. Carters main event is powerlifting which he broke a world record in bench press and achieved gold in the Squat and Bench press in 2009 at Brazil Sub-Junior Championships.

DSAUK (Dwarf Sports Association) has a national dwarf games event every may, supporting athletes on their pathway to national, international and paralympic sporting success. DSAUK has patrons which is Eleanor Simmonds who won Gold medals at the paralympics.
