Story
One of my dear friends, Simon Baxter, has two autistic children (Oli and Max). Over the last 2 years they have received a lot of valuable advice and support from a local charity called Beat Autism www.beatautism.co.uk
On March 31st – 2nd April 2017 Beat Autism is organising a sponsored walk between Derby & Castleford, approx. 70 miles, where we will be getting sponsorship before the walk and carrying collection buckets at certain points along the route. Obviously I have thrown my name in to be one of the walkers. The end of the walk coincides with "National Autism Day" where we will release balloons for a sponsored balloon race.
