On the 14th november i went to the hospital with a lump in my right breast, dr said he thinks its a fibroadenoma because it was mobile, but he would take some biopsies to be sure 🤔 on the 29th november i went back to the hospital for my results, i will never forget them words "im sorry its not the news we were expecting, its cancer" grade 3 triple negative breast cancer, all sorts of thoughts going through my head, my kids etc, so what happens now.... we need to remove the lump and your sental node! So 1st december i had my 1st operation to remove these, went back on 14th december to be told they got the lump which was 3cm and they took 1cm extra from around it to clear the margin but unfortunately wasnt enough and my sental node had cancer in it too so on the 18th december i go back to for a 2nd operation to take an extra 1cm from the margin and have a complete auxilla removal, which these didnt contain cancer, operation successful now what next....because of your age your having everything on offer, which is 6 doses of fec-t chemotherapy and 15 sessions of radiotherapy to breast and neck and 5 extra boosts to breast only, i can honestly say its been an emotional journey, and honestly felt like giving up, admitted in to hospital twice, i cant thank both hospitals enough, as without this treatment i may not have been here today, raising money for these 2 units(shooting star wrexham and radiotherapy dept glan clwyd) will be amazing as they cant do enough for you, i would also like to thank you all xxx
