Helping to combat the struggle and loneliness of homelessness is a cause that has always been close to my heart. Growing up, I remember helping my mum cook up batches of soup and handing out blankets to those on the streets around New Year’s Eve…As a small child, a bowl of soup and a warm blanket is something I took for granted but I now understand these meant so much more for the people we were giving them to.

My mum and I decided to re-ignite our passion for such a cause last Christmas – we wanted to help make a difference to those less fortunate when times get even harder in the bitter Winter months.

It was such a great feeling that we want to be able to do the same this Winter but on a bigger scale – We’d love to make a difference to as many people’s lives as possible and are asking for your help in donating to do so.

This year we will be creating our homeless Winter aid boxes, containing the basic Winter necessities such as a new thick sleeping bag, blankets, socks, water, thermals etc We only ask that you donate what you can, even the smallest of amounts can help make such a big difference and it is received with the upmost gratitude – We’ll be sure to include a note in each box, a little message of encouragement, signed from the Warren’s and our supporters. The aim is to raise £400 to go toward some boxes, however whatever amount we are able to raise will all help go toward as many boxes as possible.

We hope to get a small army of people together to hand these boxes out around the 9th of December, when those bitter frost mornings set in and temperatures begin to drop into the minuses.
