#MillionsMissing is a global campaign organised by #MEAction UK for better health equality for people with ME (Myalgic Encephlomyelitis).
ME is a serious, long-term illness that affects many body systems. People with ME are often not able to do their usual activities, 25% are bedbound. It is estimated to affect around 250,000 in the UK.
This year Leeds is hosting two #MillionsMissing events - a small virtual event on 12th May and a bigger in person event in September!
Following on from the success of the 2019 in person event we want to make this year even BIGGER and BETTER! That's why we're asking for donations to help raise funds for items on the day such as: leaflets, posters, photographer, decorations...
