We are asking for support to help the homeless in our city of Leicester. We are raising money to provide sleeping bags to those sleeping rough on the streets.

We believe that it is a duty to all humans to support those who are in need. Basics needs, such as food, clothing and shelter (access to medical support).We know a good night's sleep is a factor that affects the ability to function as humans (mind, body and soul). We are looking to purchase Sleeping bags, blankets, gloves, hats, clothing and/or footwear, however will first be starting off with sleeping bags. Our purchase will be determined by the amount of money we raise, although we are aware that the supplies are needed for survival now.

We would like to provide support by supplying sleeping bags and blankets that are water proof and can stand harsh weather.

We have an initial target to provide for 20 homeless people, as this is the number of homeless people we know of that are in need of sleeping bags . We believe in this day and age no one should be homeless, especially in a 'developed' country.

We are ashamed to say that homelessness is not being addressed adequately and has increased due to cutbacks.We are concerned about the health and safety of our brothers and sisters in humanity that are suffering due to the extremely cold weather conditions.We are aware that weather conditions can get around -5 degrees.

In order to help we have spoken to the homeless brothers and sisters and we feel that there's a lack of support and as a small community organisation we will endeavour to do our best.We are aware that the homeless ideally should be protected and provided with accommodation. But currently there's limited resources or funds for local authority providing support for all.We are aware that there are many good people who care and support individually or through charitable organisation.We are happy to answer any questions and 100% of the Donations raised will go to the cause.We are not registered at companies house or charities commission we have been operating since September 2012, we are a community organisation and receive donations from the community, for the community, to the community.We facilitate Recreational, Educational and Social activities.We are a non governmental organisation.We are a Non-Profit organisation. We have unpaid volunteers that help in their spare time.We as a organisation account for evidence.We have a constitution and organisation rules, our transactions are fully transparent to the community.
