Weʼve raised £5 to pay for corrective surgery following a childhood car accident. Despite the anguish, the NHS no longer see me as a suitable candidate.

    Story

I wish to start this by saying that I am in no way reaching out for charity. I am setting up this page for friends and family.
As Christmas is approaching, I wish to ask that instead of gift giving this year to instead donate. I know that asking for money is almost a rude thing to do, which is why I have given the option to give anonymously.
This means that I will have no idea who has donated what amounts and it also means you can opt out of giving me a Christmas gift altogether if you wish.

The reason I am saving up this money is because when I was 9 years old I was in a car accident. I was operated on and where the seatbelt cut into me, I was left with excess scar tissue built up under the skin on my stomach. The NHS have been telling me ever since that because of the nature of how it happened, they would be doing corrective surgery to sort it but from the age of 18 the NHS have now decided that I'm not a suitable enough candidate to have my body changed back to where I'm not reminded everyday of what happened.
I am now taking it into my own hands.
Obviously I'm not looking for £6000 from Christmas donations, that's absurd,.
Im going to use this page to show my progression of saving to reaching the goal sum and receive the surgery.
Thanks for taking the time to read my story.
