Story
Ethiopia is a country on the raise and still continues to have millions of people living below the poverty line. The best way in our opinion to help is to create sustainable jobs. We do not believe in aid and charity campaigns that teaches women to believe their way out is to braid wallets out of empty milk packages or recycle pet bottles into shopping bags (although we do strongly believe in recycling!). We want to give Ethiopian entrepreneurs a platform to reach customers worldwide with products manufactured and value-added in country which enables them to create jobs and educate their countryman and women and allow them to grow independently from foreign aid and charities.
We invite Ethiopian entrepreneurs to come to us with their products and
1) connect them to customers worldwide
2) create a brand for their products
3) launch a marketing campaign to reach consumers everywhere
All products are required to be manufactured and value-added in Ethiopia as to create jobs and bring income to the country itself. Top quality and minimal environmental impact on manufacturing is a given!
