Lewis 8 years old is doing a sponsored walk up Ben Vrackie on the 24th of June, he would like to raise money for Ward 2 at the sick kids on behalf of little Lennon Duncan our neighbours grandson who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in January 2018 at four years old. He was rushed in for major surgery to remove the tumour which was the size of an orange. Unfortunately the results come back that it was cancer, Medulloblastoma. He was then taken back to theatre to have a shunt fitted to release the pressure on his brain. Lennon has just finished 6 hard weeks of radiotherapy and is about to start a 36 week (maybe longer) course of Chemotherapy. He has a long road ahead but he is a little fighter and has an amazing Mummy holding his hand along the way. Despite everything little Lennon is going though he is still full of smiles and always says hello. Lewis is such a loving caring little boy and this means a lot to him to be able to help in any way.
