Story
Loosing a loved one to suicide is one of the hardest things a family will ever experience. Especially when that loved one was only 22 years old. Lucy was a daughter, a baby sister, a mummy and a friend and was very much loved by everyone that knew her. Due to her mental health, Lucy was unable to understand how much we loved her and how amazing she was as a person. She gave so much love and support to everyone around her that she had none left for herself.
Donations will be put towards the development of a music therapy room which will be made available to adult users of the Warneford Psychiatric Hospital where Lucy found true help and support during her darker days. As this is not something that is currently available, we feel that will be highly influential not only in keeping Lucy's legacy alive but also in aiding service users to find comfort and support when they need it most, which is something that we know Lucy would want.
Lucy had a little boy who was the light of her life and when they were together their bond was so strong and allowed Lucy's true happiness to really shine through. She was a fantastic mummy but unfortunately not everyone could see that. Being tarnished with the brand of mental health and the lack of understanding by others meant that the sweet, kind, caring, loving Lucy that we all knew, was perceived to be danger, a risk and an undeserving mother. Lucy also continued to battle her own demons and never failed to provide support to others who needed it.
Since her passing it has become clear that Lucy touched the hearts of many people throughout her short life. Her talents in music and art brought hope to people who she saw struggling. After teaching herself to play the guitar and finding her voice, Lucy began to make covers of her favourite songs and created some of her own which she found strength in. We have since collected these songs and put together a CD so she can continue to assist people to find comfort and aid us all in keeping her memory alive. These are available to buy for £10 which can be paid through this page (please pm me with your postage details).
Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for any donations, big or small, every penny helps to bring a little hope during this difficult time.

I am sorry to hear this sad news. I was in hospital with Lucy. I wish we had kept in touch. Lucy was so kind, caring and sweet. I would like to purchase her CD so I can remember her amazing talents.
