Hi, my name is Lesley McDonald. 

I was diagnosed with secondary progressive  multiple sclerosis (SPMS) approximately 5 years ago.  I have been deteriorating  slowly and now am at the point where I require a wheelchair for shopping  etc.  I will continue to worsen to the point of being completely bedridden if nothing is  done.

I have looked into Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) which  is currently being researched in the UK.  This treatment has been proven to halt further progression. Unfortunately for me, at present both NHS and private  treatment is only offered to a few sufferers of the remitting-relapsing type of MS (RRMS).

Therefore, my only option is to go overseas to Clinica Ruiz in Puebla, Mexico at a cost of roughly £45,000.  I have been accepted for treatment in Mexico in March 2018 and am desperate to raise the funds in a very short space of time.  I would be very grateful for any donations.
