Les Redwood and Carl Haslem, two "old" friends, who used to work at British Airways PLC in the 1990's are raising money in memory of two incredible guys that passed away suddenly last year. Ian "Dickie" Davis and Simon "Baxi" Baxendale both passed away in 2021 in unexpected and truly shocking circumstances. This has made Carl and Les even more determined to "Carpe Diem" in their own lives and to combine a lifelong "bucket" list aspiration, whilst raising some funds in Simon and Ians' memories.

The "Dickie Baxi" (The DB's!!) cycle ride will traverse our fair isle from John o' Groats to Lands End from the 14th to 29th August 2022. Les and Carl will be fulfilling a lifelong aspiration to cycle right across the country from North to South and will be hoping to raise as much money for Dickie's Family and BHF in Simon's Memory as they can. Anyone that knew these two incredible guys will know what a shock it has been to lose such incredible people so, so suddenly and unexpectedly. Please donate whatever you can to support .
