The Northampton saints cricket club is a proud club that has been around for a long time. The club currently has 4 senior mens teams. The 1st and 2nd teams are in the premier division and division 2 respectively and has one of the biggest colts (childrens) cricket sections in Northampton. Its fair to say that it is a big club, and that it has a strong presence in the county.

I am trying to raise this £15,000 for the Northampton Saints cricket club. A club that I am so proud and privileged to be apart of, because even though we are a big and strong club, and have a huge presence within the county, we need money to be able to afford new equipment and refurbish our facilities to keep the ground in top condition. Our groundsmen over the years have done a fantastic job at getting the ground ready for the cricket season each year, and for every week during the season, dealing with wind, rain, occasional snow, and every now and then, some sunshine. The late
Les Bentley and his son pete, along with phil young over the last 10 years have kept our ground in great condition despite the equipment getting old and rickety. But now it needs to be replaced with new or newer equipment that can continue to help our groundsman do a great job. Some of our facilities such as our sight screens and practice nets, are in need of replacement or refurbishment as well, as they are getting old and rusty or becoming a problem set up because of wear and tear.

The Northampton Saints has been a massive part of my life since moving to the UK. I would be devastated if the club wasnt able to keep its high standards because it couldnt afford new equipment, or to be able to refurbish and replace old facilities.

Please help our club continue to thrive and engage our young children to be fantastic cricketers and people.
