My challenge:

To cycle 350km in just five days travelling along tropical coastline and through parts of the Atlantic rainforest of Brazil. It is the Woman v Cancer cycle ride and is organised by Action for Charity, (Registered charity number 268369) which takes place on the 9th to the 19th of October 2017.

Why am I doing it:

Well I’m into my 4th year of remission and last year I went through breast reconstruction. Now back onto my feet again I feel it is time to let go of the past and look to the future. My aim is to get my fitness back and at the same time give something back to the charities that so helped me through those dark days. I tell my children that life is all about learning and new chapters and opportunities, and this is mine.

Which Charities will benefit:

Three charities working to fight breast, ovarian and cervical cancers: Breast Cancer Care, Ovarian Cancer Action and Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust.

How can you help:

I am paying for my costs £1600, but wish to raise £1,700 for the Charities.
