Libby and Maddy are visiting Ghana in October 2018 to help with the building of a new orphanage at Eugemot.  The Eugemot Orphanage is located in the Upper Volta Region of Ghana and is home to 56 orphans and the orphanage staff.   Three  new buildings  have  been  built  and  Maddy  and  Libby  will  be  helping  finish  it  off  so  that  the  children  can  move  in,  as  well  as  spending  time  with  the  orphans  and  other  members  of  the  local  community.   The  aim  is  that  a  bakery  will  also  be  built  and  the  land  farmed  so  that  the  orphanage  can  become  self  sufficient.   The  girls  are  travelling  with  other  Guides  and  Leaders  from  Girlguiding  Royal  Berkshire.
