Story
Unfortunately on the night of the 12th April at 10:20PM my fathers van was broken into and emptied. By two occupants of a ford Mondeo with the number plate HG51 PNF in the Canterbury area.
little and behold he had is lifetime of tools in this van (20 years and approximately £11,000's worth which can be thought of to this moment in time) it must have been planned, the van was parked on a private land driveway hidden from the main street.
Unfortunately Insurance will not cover the goods stolen; the police although bombarded with relevant information containing registration of the vehicle used, color and description and occupants seem to show very little concern and haven't acted in an efficient manner.
it is clear by now all of my fathers lively hood, what he uses to maintain his property and farm land with has been stolen with no intention of return or to be located by the police.
although £2000 wouldn't purchase anywhere near what was wrongfully taken of his, it is a start to get back on his feet after this knock back. unfortunately this is not the first or second time it has happened, its the third.
Every little will help, even as little as a pound, and i'm sure there's many tradesmen that are in the same boat with the way these crimes have been skyrocketing. It is also clear this same vehicle has been used a number of times over the recent weeks and i urge you to please come forward to help get these thieves arrested and justice served.
Any information leading to the return of some tools would be greatly appreciated and wouldn't go a miss.
A massive thank you to anybody willing and able to help him get back on his feet after this massive setback.

Nice one Jack.I was gutted for your dad, I can't imagine how he felt when he found the tools he'd built up over years had been robbed by a couple of lowlifes. Their parents must be so proud.
