The men on the picture is my sister's Dad, but where I am from it only means that he is my family too. I am from Venezuela and living in the UK, but he still lives in our home town and he needs my help.

He was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and it's understanbly bad news for any family but for Venezuelans it could be a sentence.

The entire Venezuelan health care system is on the verge of collapse, some hospitals lack electricity, they don't have the proper medical supplies to take care of the people who go to the emergency like gloves, like every basic thing they need for an emergency and there is also a 90 percent deficit of other medical supplies and drugs used to treat more serious conditions like CANCER.

This medicine is not available in the country, days pass by and he carries on with no treatment.
Other families in our situation have advise us how to get the medicine abroad and delivered home but this is quite expensive.
He also needs blood tests and more tests to be run but everything has to be paid privately. And when he can have surgery well the cost could be the same as a house back in Venezuela
