Hello Everyone,

Lilly-Mae has been offered an amazing opportunity at school to visit Shanghai in China. The trip will take place in October 2018. During the visit they will work with a school in China for 4 days and take part in activities with Chinese students. The remaining 5 days will be spent site seeing shanghai and visiting a traditional water town amongst various other exciting visits.

Lilly has been learning Mandarin for the past 2+ years and will be carrying this on through to GCSE level. This trip will give her opportunities to communicate with her peers in Mandarin Chinese. It will also allow Lilly to access and understand aspects of life in Modern China that would not normally be accessible to tourists from the UK.

The cost of the trip covers:

Travel visas for China

Travel insurance

Flights

Hotel accommodation

All meals

Entry to Shanghai attractions.

The cost of the total Trip is £1600. The deposit of £400 is due by December with the remaining payment due by September 2018.

This is an amazing once in a life time opportunity that we would love Lilly-Mae to be able to take part in. After her success in school this past 12 months becoming headgirl and her continuous praise from her teachers she more than deserves this opportunity.

Lilly-Mae has suggested trying to raise money through dog-walking, baby sitting and car washing which we will advertise and hopefully be able to raise funds this way. Therefore if anyone has any jobs suitable for her to earn some much appreciated funds for the trip please get in touch.
