Story
At the end of April I will be running the Great Birmingham 10km, and I'm raising money to support my flatmate Lottie, who will be spending ten weeks in Nepal completing work in a rural community in the Makwanpur district.
She will be doing either a water and sanitation project or a livelihoods project which helps establish businesses with young people and women. A lot of Nepal is still effected by the earthquake that struck in 2015 and one of the project's main focuses is helping rebuild communities through both physical infrastructure as well as business growth and development.
She needs to raise £1500 which will go directly to the ICS scheme she is taking part in, helping them to continue to send young people from all backgrounds to poor communities in the developing world. When out in Nepal she will be working on behalf of Raleigh International, which is a sustainable development charity. They work for and with young people, alongside rural communities, to create positive and lasting change.

Thank you for any donations!
