Hi! Just recently at Harton Sixth Form, we have been given the great opportunity to embark on a trip to Cambodia in July 2018, costing £3500! The trip will last from the 1st of July 2018, for 25 days until the 25th July 2018.

When in Cambodia, we will be taking part in a building project for the less fortunate that could make their lives just the slightest bit better. This could include something as small as building an outdoor toilet facility, or an outdoor volleyball court. As well as this, I will be travelling to different places such as the capital Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Angkor and other locations to visit the temples and experience their culture first hand.

All of the money has to be fully fundraised myself, therefore over the next 2 years I will be taking part in many sponsored events such as the Kielder Challenge on October 15th this year (cycle 13 miles and walk 13 miles round Kielder reservoir). We will also be taking part in cake sales, bag packing and anything else to raise the money needed.
