On Sunday 12th August i will be embarking on The Great Bridges Row which is 22km (22.76km to be precise) going through Scotswood, Redheugh, Tyne, Swing and Millennium Bridges. We will be having a quick break (and be taking some selfies hehe) then heading back to our starting point at Tyne United rowing club at Newburn. This i a huge challenge for me, not just physically but mentally as it will be the furthest i have ever rowed in one stint (and possibly last depending on how it goes lol) and hopefully will be the start of me pushing myself to do long distance rowing rather than the short distance racing that i have been doing over the past year and a half with the Sunday League Explore Series.
