Please help Bonnyton Community Centre recover after a recent robbery.

The Bonnyton Community Centre is a locally run venue that houses activities for the surrounding area. The community assosiation took over the running of the centre when threatened by closure from East Ayrshire Council and are currently awaiting charity status to be confirmed. The dedication of the volunteers means that the area still has access to groups such as a dance school, a church, exercise classes, essential skills sessions and access to hire the hall for parties and events.

Events such as halloween and christmas parties are provided to the local children free of charge and annual trips to Blair Drummond safari park and shopping centres are organised at highly subsidised rates for adults snd children alike.

On Monday 5th February one of the volunteers had her handbag stolen from the office, the handbag held her own personal belongings aswell as the takings from the hall lets, police were called and the handbag was found in the area but the money was lost.

Please donate a small amount if you can to help recoup losses, as well as the lost money the centre is severely out of pocket due to the costs of replacing locks, fitting CCTV and orher extra security measures.
