    Story

A few days ago I got the news that My dear friend Aisha Mirza was taken seriously ill in hospital. Aisha's condition is extremely serious and her particular condition is very rare. Aisha had a sudden Subarachnoid Brain hemorrhage and is incredibly lucky to be alive. She is being taken care of by the wonderful and attentive staff at hospital and her close family. Aisha has been told that her recovery will take quite some time and in this time she needs and must have complete rest. Those of us who are blessed enough to have Aisha in our lives, know that she is a true Trojan and keeps going despite difficulties and obstacles to overcome. Her tenacity of spirit is God given and it is in this spirit that she must now allow herself to commit to her own healing and recovery. Aisha has an incredibly busy life and is a blessing to all those around her. She works tirelessly not only in her professional life but also in her personal life, through her Activism, to keep others safe and to highlight those causes that are difficult to shine a light on. Aisha is also a wonderful Mum to three incredible children. I wanted to set up this account for my dear friend in order to alleviate some of the financial strain that she will now face in having to take a great deal of time away from work to recover. I do not want her to have to worry about things like bills when she should be resting completely. I have seen recently, too many times, how fragile and finite life is. We all need to take the time to slow down and focus on what is important. I know that our Sister Aisha has helped me and many many others throughout her lifetime, so now it is our duty to help her when she needs us. Please give whatever you can. Please keep Aisha in your Prayers for continued and complete healing. God Bless. xx
