We are fundraising to help a very special lady Linda Segerson.
Linda has not had a very good time over the years, Linda has been a very good mother to 4 children who she has brought up on her own and it's not been easy on times for her.
Linda has always been a very hard working woman who has very rarely been out of work, She likes to work hard and always have.
Linda and family took a real hard fall 9 years ago when Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer, which was very aggresive and seen her have 22 lymph nodes removed along with a breast mastectomy.
Everyone was delighted when Linda managed to get over her 5 year all clear goal. Just 9 years on Linda has been suffereing with a very bad back and was taken into hospital when it was there they decided to run much more tests over a period of 3 weeks.
Sadly it was confirmed in further meetings after, that the Cancer has returned in Linda's spine in her back, which is in 3 parts of her spine. This has been confirmed to be incurable. This is heartbreaking to all her family and friends after seeing the battle Linda has had over the years.
Linda has been through very hard and sad times the past few years, caring for her mother and father who have sadly passed away quite recently.
I felt the need that this page had to be set up for Linda as she is a very special lady that has made a huge impact in other peoples lives. she has stood by be through so many hard times in my life while dealing with her own. She has never ever put her self first in any circumstances in life, Linda would drop her own problems to be there for anyone else that needed her. Linda lives for her family and grandchildren who she adores and spends all her time with along with her close friends.
We would like to raise funds for Macmillan nursing ward & for Linda just to make life that more comfortable in the coming time ahead, and taking her away in a special vacation which we know she needs very much indeed.
