Story
Since my kidney transplant on 21/4/17 I have been thinking of how to honour my donor and their loved ones. To show them how their amazing generosity, courage and kindness has changed not only my life but my family and friends too.
To show them how their loved one lives on in me and is remembered everyday.
I have decided to compete in The British Transplant games. These games are held annually for transplant recipients to raise awarenes of organ donation.
I will send my donors family a package afterwards with photos and memorabilia. If I win any medals they will be theirs too.
I will also be taking part in a 3km run with Harry at my side.
I will be representing St Helier hospital. The renal charity there are able to meet some of the costs involved in sending a team but not all. It would be a great help to me if we were able to raise some funds to get me to these important game.
Thank you xx
