On August 22nd last year, the family's eldest son Alex, who was 20, was told he had Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Whilst supporting their eldest son through all of the treatment and hospital appointments, their other son Lucas, aged 18, fell ill. On December 18th last year, four months apart from his brother, Lucas was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and the family have done an incredible job of supporting both of these children, as well as their third son, aged 13, through these challenging times.

Despite all of the heartache, the parents have been very selfless and have been doing all sorts of fundraising activity, such as jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet to raise over £13,000 for the following charities:

LEAF (Leukaemia Educating and Fundraising), Bloodwise & The Teenage Cancer Trust

Unfortunately, last week, the leukemia showed up again on a blood test and has returned. Clinical trials in the UK are currently being explored for Lucas, and we would like to see if it is possible to conduct any fundraising activity to support the family for their son’s treatment.

We are hoping to raise money to support Lucas and his family with the increase in costs they are facing with a change in his diet (he is now required to eat purely organic/fresh food), and support with potential clinical trials.
