Lislea Community Association have undertaken an exiting new project to extend our facilities to a new outdoor community space and playground. The facilities will include state of the art play equipment that will suit toddlers to teenagers, adult fitness equipment, a story telling area and a picnic area. We have constructed a new community shed building where we will be providing a range of courses and classes for members of the surrounding communities.

We have benefited from funding from the Big Lottery, Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and EB(NI) Ltd through Regen. We have also been supported by very generous work in kind from the Doherty family. Through concerts, coffee mornings, plays and many other activities, with the support of our community, we have raised funds to purchase the land and pay for the many fees associated with the project. However, we still have had a shortfall in funds and are asking for your help...
