Marilyn was a 67 year old lady, who lived life to the full, enjoyed socialising with all her family and friends and always had a smile on her face.

In the last year, since having her kidney removed, her health had slightly deteriorated, and she was diagnosed with COPD last year (after giving up smoking), but she always tried to keep that smile on her face and to be a positive person to be around.

In the early hours of last friday (18th august) an ambulance was called because she was struggling with her breathing. While in hospital she had suffered a massive stroke and heart attack, and with all the medical equipment, staff and love in the world, she was unable to keep up her fight. She passed away, surrounded by her loved ones at around 23.00 lastnight.

So, as we all know, losing a very much loved one is an incredibly difficult time, so when trying to pay for a funeral unexpectedly on top of all this pain, is more of a strain and pressure.
