Weʼve raised £5,046 to cover the basic money needed in setting up an in keeping Community run Project on the old Littleborough Wharf, Rochdale Canal.

Story
We have so far risen £1,600 in total in 2 years for our Littleborough Canalside Café Community Project.
We have enough money in the kitty to cover the cost of now applying for the Planning Application with our Local Council - accompanied with plans for a temporary wooden structure that will possibly be allowed on the derelict site here within the local community.
The £18,000 will if reached - enable our Community to use the site as a café as well as looking lovely and selling locally sourced produce made by local people.
The Community Café will also have an information point with information about Littleborough itself.

7 years agoAt the moment a restored Working Canal Boat has moored up along the Littleborough Wharf Canal Street and may be there over night. July 3rd.

Lets get this café started, I have so far donated £5.50p with this donation, and I don't/wont own the Littleborough Canalside Café - as it will belong to us ALL in Littleborough that Donate something.
