Gavin Bennett and friends are cycling across America to raise funds for Velindre Cancer Hospital. Each rider MUST raise £6000 for charity to enter. Their places in event and support are covered by sponsors. To help with this cause Ellen and Claudia participated in their very first duathlon today! They cycled one full lap of the lake at Bryn Bach Park, followed by a full lap run of the same route. This totalled 2.4 miles and both girls rocked it! Ellen is 7 and Claudia just 4 years of age!

This charity is also close to their hearts as it supported their Grampi who they sadly lost to cancer last year. Velindre's support was integral to providing more time for them to spend with their Grampi. Their care and support at the centre is second to none. Please help them to raise further funds for others receiving treatment and for all those who will need their support in future!
