Theo recently turned 8 years old and for a birthday present he went horse riding for the first time at a local city farm . This would be exciting for any young child tho more so for Theo as he has autism. Theo would normally shy away if approached by other small children or animals so it was really exciting to see him happily making noises and interacting with both his horse Lucky and the instructor. Theo's limited interaction skills and his inability to talk often means he would not be understood however riding for the disabled holds group horse riding session weekly at our local city farm with staff trained to communicate and understand the children. I am his auntie Lizzie and i would dearly love to raise 300 to pay for 12 riding lessons , i intend to apply for funding tho would like for Theo to continue his lessons. In the meantime If you can donate a couple of pound it will all add up and our Theo can giddy up. Each session cost £25.
