Story
I will be running the Shakespeare Marathon in memory of a much loved uncle who was the most energetic and entertaining Black Country chap around. Being the kind hearted man he was he used to showcase his singing talent to raise money for a charity close to his heart. I too will be raising money for this charity. Compton Hospice offers palliative care, in-patient care, home care nursing, hospice at home and bereavement support, amongst other services. Their compassionate support makes a real impact to patient’s quality of life and ensures that families are cared for so they can ‘make the most of their time together, have an input into the care of their loved one, and feel better prepared for the future‘ following a bereavment. I will be honoured to run for such a cause which impacts the lives of so many. If you feel inspired to donate please do so and thank you for taking the time and interest to read this.
