Well, I think we can all agree that coronavirus and the resulting lockdown is awful.

majority of animal and wildlife attractions are not for Profit, charity run organisations and while they have no visitors, they have no income. Unlike many large businesses they have no money to fall back on. In our local area we are lucky enough to have numerous places we can go to see and learn about our native wildlife and animals from around the world.

It is no secret that at present these places are struggling. So we have decided to do something about it. As a team of three friends we have thought and thought and realised we live in a very hilly place and will use that to make a difference. one of us lives down a very steep 45 metre lane with an elevation difference between top and bottom of 13.3 metres. We will all (at a safe distance) walk from the bottom to the top, back down, back up and back down 103 times. We will cover a distance of over 9 kilometres and climb 1345 metres, replicating the climb up Ben Nevis, the UKs tallest mountain, as best we can.
